Mount Annapurna

Known as the 10th highest mountain in the world at approx. 8,091 metres, Mount Annapurna is part of the massif in north-central Nepal. The entire massif is part of the largest conservation area of Nepal and is home to several world-class treks.

However, Mount Annapurna Peak is considered to be one of the most-steep, and difficult peaks to climb in the region and deadliest as well. It got its name from the Goddess named Annapurna, who is believed to reside there and is the source of everlasting food.
